The DSJ strives to operate as independently as possible, prioritizing energy and water self-sufficiency. Recently, we transitioned our primary water source from municipal supply to our own borehole system.
This borehole water undergoes filtration, including chlorination and pH adjustment, to maintain high quality. Regular testing is conducted at a South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) accredited laboratory, which confirms that the water is safe for consumption.
