For decades, the Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg has been a beacon of educational excellence and community.

As our school continues to grow and evolve, so too must our facilities. We are excited to launch this vital campaign to redevelop our main entrance and drop-off area, a project designed to significantly improve safety, streamline daily routines, and create a welcoming first impression for all who arrive at our school.

Be a Part of DSJ's Future

Every morning and afternoon, countless families, teachers, and staff navigate the busy Sans Souci and Napier Roads to reach the DSJ. With growing traffic, limited parking, and the nearby school and hospital entrances, the daily school run has become not only stressful but also a concern for the safety of our learners.

To make a real difference, DSJ has purchased two properties on Loch Avenue, directly bordering the school. On one of these sites, we will be developing a new “Drop-Off & Go” parking area (Phase 1 of the development plan. Phase 2 is the development of the second property in a separate future project phase.)

This facility will ease congestion, make mornings calmer, pickups smoother, and—most importantly—help keep our children safe. It’s a project that will benefit not only DSJ families, but also the broader community that uses these roads every day.

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to realizing this essential upgrade. Your support directly impacts the daily lives of our students and strengthens the foundation of our school for years to come. Upon request, the DSJ will provide section 18A certificates. This makes your donation fully tax-deductible and allows you to recoup part of it as an income tax refund.
