Your Contribution: Building a Safer, Calmer DSJ Entrance (DSJ Donation)
Every morning and afternoon, countless families navigate the busy streets surrounding the DSJ. With growing traffic and limited space, the daily school run has become increasingly stressful and, more importantly, a safety concern for our learners.
The Solution: The Loch Avenue ‘Drop-Off & Go’ Zone
The DSJ has purchased two adjacent properties on Loch Avenue to create a new, dedicated ‘Drop-Off & Go’ parking area, which is Phase 1 of our development plan (Phase 2 is the development of the second property in a separate future project phase). This essential new facility will:
- Boost Safety: By separating school traffic from the busy main roads.
- Ease Congestion: By creating a smooth, efficient flow for arrivals and departures.
- Benefit the Community: By alleviating pressure on Sans Souci and Napier Roads for all residents.
With collaboration and shared commitment, this transformation becomes achievable.
By donating today, you are investing in the daily safety, peace of mind, and future infrastructure of the Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg. Upon request, the DSJ will provide section 18A certificates. This makes your donation fully tax-deductible and allows you to recoup part of it as an income tax refund.
