Composition of the Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is composed of representatives from all school phases from Kindergarten to the Secondary School as well as a representative of the parents, the Board and the student body.

Function of the Steering Committee

The Steering Committee of the Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg organises and moderates the process of quality development in close cooperation with the school management. It assists the school’s development and provides guidance and coordination in the preparatory work. It aims to involve as many members of the school community as possible in the school development process.

Working topics 2019-2021:

• Development and implementation of a new school programme with the participation of the school community
• Supervision of the processes and projects derived from this programme with the focal points “dealing with diversity” and “continuous language education”
