Spelling Bee

This year’s Spelling Bee was fun but a bit nerve wracking. The feeling of getting up onto the stage was exciting. Then comes a time when your excitement gets crushed. You see the first person get knocked out of the contest and your nerves start to act up! I remember when it was my turn, I felt like I was going to faint. Spelling in front of the whole of Grade 8 drained my energy. Getting the word wrong made me realize that you must always try and try again!
