Basar goes Virtual!

We may have cancelled our Schulbasar, but it was going to take more than Covid-19 to break our spirits.

Instead of beer and bratwurst, we ran a ‘Going for Guild’ Food Drive, with all proceeds going to Guild Cottage. The drive was extremely well supported by the community and Guild cottage now has enough food to get them through the Winter.

In addition to this, guests were encouraged to dress up and celebrate the event (this year would have been the 113^th annual Schulbasar) from home, and send their photos and videos.

The day proved to be a massive success and organisers are extremely grateful to the community for their support.
