I Have Kids, Can They Come?
YES OF COURSE! While #Basar19 is best known for its beer, it is actually a family event. All our classes, from Kindergarten to Grade 11, run their own activities. We have over 60 different stands (food, drinks, games and activities) which cater for the WHOLE family! As above, children under the age of 12 get in for FREE!
How Do I Pay?
Just like last year, #Basar19 is going cashless with Howler! Our guests won’t be charged for cashless cards and they are yours to keep.
Who’s Playing?
The live entertainment this year includes Mark Beling Band, Velvet Sounds Oompah Band and the popular Vin Deysel
What’s Brewing?
For the third year in a row, we are privileged to announce Windhoek Beer as our official sponsor.
We will also be welcoming a host of craft brewers including Brauhaus am Damm, Drayman’s Brewery, Aces Brew Worx, Hey Joe Brewing Co, Soweto Gold, Hazeldean Brewing Co, The RedRock Brewing Co, Flare Beverages, Stellenbrau, Jack Black, Lagunitas and Mainstream Brewing Company.
What’s Cooking?
Look out for stands selling German specialities such as Matjes, Fleischkäse, Schnitzel, Bratwurst, Currywurst, Eisbein and Kartoffelpuffer. For those of you that don’t enjoy German food or if you fancy something sweet/savoury, we’ve got you covered!
