2018 Matric Results

In 2018, 48 candidates wrote the NSC and 20 the Combined NSC-Abitur.  Of the total 68 candidates, 66 have met the requirements for further study.

The Combined NSC-Abitur Class of 2018 can be proud of itself. Overall, an average of 2.28 was achieved in the German Abitur. Two learners achieved a stunning 1.3 average and seven were better than 2.0. This means that the 2018 class is well ahead of the worldwide German Abitur average of 2.4 (2017)!

From the NSC stream, 42 candidates have obtained the minimum requirements to study a bachelor’s degree, 4 candidates have obtained the minimum requirements to study for a diploma and one candidate has qualifies for studies for a higher certificate at a tertiary institution in South Africa.  This means that 91.17% have a bachelor degree pass (BD), 5.88% have a diploma pass (D) and 1,47% has met the requirements for a higher certificate (HC).
